Shipping Policy

Turnaround

All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. Prescription orders usually take 5-7 business days to complete and ship. 

Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

UPS: Our standard shipping method when a physical address (not PO Box) is provided. For domestic continental destinations (not including AK, HI, GU and PR), orders are shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver service, which in most cases arrives by end of the following day. For international destinations, orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited service, which according to UPS.com takes 2 business days to arrive in Canada and 3+ business days to arrive in Mid-East, Europe, Mexico, Latin America and Asia,
USPS: For PO Box, APO, and addresses not accessible to UPS, orders will be shipped via USPS First Class service. 

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail may not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.


Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 14 days of your purchase.

1. Please email Sam Chen at sam.chen@rochesteroptical.com to initiate a return, refund or exchange request.

2. Mail your returned item(s) to:

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.

Return Exceptions

Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges within 14 days of your purchase ONLY when the item(s) is in working condition. Please email Sam Chen at sam.chen@rochesteroptical.com to initiate your request and mail to above address in #2. Make sure to include a return shipping label for the exchange item to go back to you. Rochester Optical will not be responsible for shipping if the return shipping label is not included.
