Our Lab’s Journey to a Zero-Carbon, Socially & Environmentally Conscious Future

At our lab, science and sustainability go hand in hand—but we don’t stop there. From being 100% electric and carbon-neutral to empowering our local community through hands-on impact, we’re proud to be a lab that’s as dedicated to people and the planet as we are to progress.

EV chargers

100% Electric. 100% Responsible

Every corner of our lab is powered by clean, renewable energy. We’ve phased out fossil fuels entirely, choosing instead to run on solar, wind, and responsibly sourced green power. It’s a big step toward climate action—and one we’re proud to lead.

Charging the Way

Electric vehicles are the future, and we’re already there. We’ve installed EV charging stations for staff and visitors to encourage cleaner transportation and make going green more accessible.

Carbon Neutral Energy Efficient

Rethinking Waste with Purpose

Sustainability isn’t just about energy—it’s about reducing impact wherever we can. We’ve implemented lab-wide recycling programs, responsibly manage e-waste, and look for every opportunity to reuse materials instead of discarding them. It’s about creating a circular mindset in everything we do.

Homeless

Lending Space, Lifting Lives

Social impact is just as important to us as environmental stewardship. Recently, weloaned one of our buildings to a local nonprofit that builds beds for children who were sleeping on the floor. Volunteers turned simple 2x4s into something life-changing—providing comfort, dignity, and a place to dream. We were honored to support the effort and help create space for hope.

Bee Keeping

New Buzz in Town: Beekeeping for a Better Planet

We’re thrilled to share our latest initiative:on-site beekeeping!

Our goal? To support declining bee populations, enhance local pollination, and offer natural, locally harvested honey to our surrounding community. It’s a sweet way to give back to nature—and it helps improve biodiversity right in our own backyard. Plus, it’s a great way to spark environmental curiosity and education for all ages.
